Mr. Yuko Shem Okoth, Our CEO; Made presentation at JICA`s ABE Initiative networking event

In June 2025, our CEO presented a compelling narrative as a key success story of the ABE initiative during the JICA Networking Event, highlighting transformative experiences he gained at Toyo University under the mentorship of Professor Kenmei Tsubota. The session fostered engagement with diverse stakeholders to align Grassroots ongoing projects with the year's networking theme, “Co-create innovative solutions with Africa.” 

Key contributions included:

- Collaboration with Sora Technology and Adams Innovation in Japan, enhancing cross-cultural technology transfer.
- Significant research initiatives, such as IDE JETRO's joint study on ICT utilization in Kenya’s informal sector, contribute valuable insights for policy development.
- Research on intergroup conflicts and radicalization in partnership with Musashi University, focusing on multi-dimensional measurements and effective policy interventions.
- Partnership with JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development to investigate socio-economic isolation among youths in Nairobi slums, identifying impactful income generation strategies.
- Ex-post evaluation of the Mombasa Port Development Project Phase 2 in collaboration with Metrics Works cc, informing future infrastructure investments.

The session fostered connections with potential partners dedicated to advancing global development agendas.
